Easy install. Works as advertised. Follow the instructions and you are good to go.
Just installed our new GTK-160A Kit. I can't believe we went years without one of these. Had always used the ceiling fan to circulate the heat. How dumb was that.
The kit was simple to install, took about 15 minutes and it works like a charm.Took about five minutes for the sensor to heat up and kick on. Love the speed control and the fact that it is quite.
Dad just got some serious cool points with our new GTK-160A Blower.
Warm winters ahead!!!!!
Easiest installation ever. No tools required. Good instructions. Magnetic mounting parts are the best.
I needed a blower fan for my new Hearth-Home gas fireplace. The local fireplace businesses quoted me $450-$500 (cost of the unit at $300 plus service fee and install fee of $150-$200). I researched and determined this was the appropriate part and ordered it. Install took less than 10 minutes, most of which was reading the instructions. It was super easy and works like a charm, and I saved myself over $300.
It works as advertised and is reasonably quiet.
Detailed, easy-to-follow instructions. Less than 30 minutes to install.
Super simple to install. Hardest part was cleaning the dust out of the unit. Great instructions, everything fit in the factors holes and places. I think it took 20 minutes to actually install.
I run it at about 50% (ceiling fan in the room) and I can barely hear it. If you were to run it at 100% speed you would hear the hum and wind noise.
So far super impressed with the unit.
My Hearth-Home fireplace was pre-wired for this, with the power strip setup, and so this install literally took 10 minutes, with at least half of that spent carefully reading the directions. I connected the plug wires to the blower assembly, affixed the ground wire and slid the blower into place. Then I plugged the two wires into the power strip and plugged it in. That's it! It works like a charm, and I saved over $300 by doing it myself. Fireplace stores that do this work wanted $300 for the motor, $100 for a service fee for coming out, and another $50-$100 for the actual install. For something that should take them less than 10 minutes.
So much more quiet than the old one while was going through its death rattles. Lots more warm air being efficiently circulated which is saving me money and making the room warmer.
Great advice as to which kit fitted, prompt delivery and clear installation directions. Blower works quietly and efficiently to improve room heating. Thank you!
