Our GZ550-1KT Blower Fan Kit is designed for Napoleon fireplaces to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Prompt Shipping and Good Product
Staff were knowledgeable of their product and shipping procedures to Canada.Delivery was quick and the detailed instructions with the fan resulted in a fast install.Wish the fan could cut in at perhaps a couple of degrees lower, but not a big problem.

Simple, Clean, and Easy to Use
I purchased a new home and the fireplace didn't come with a blower (like others on this site). Blower was shipped quickly, best price around, and took me about 25 minutes from un-boxing to turning on the fireplace to test it out. If you back off the dial a little bit from full speed, the blower is nice and quiet. It blows a lot of air for the size, and helps to heat nearly the entire house since our family room has vaulted ceilings that end up near the bedrooms.

Really Happy with Blower
Purchased a new home in January last year and the fireplace didn't come with the blower....wasn't impressed with that. Just purchased the blower kit and it was shipped that same day. The installation was straight forward but agree the theromsat sensor was a little tricky. Really impressed with the amount of air that comes out when it's working...really throws it out! Was my first time ordering from here and would recommend to anyone!

Easiest install ever
The instructions were very well written, no surprises at all. Everything I needed came with it(except tools of course). Made a huge difference with my fireplace, pushes a lot of air. It's a little noisy on full speed but dialed back a little it's hardly noticeable.

Blower kit for Napoleon
Once installed the blower works well. The instructions seemed straightforward enough but the access to my Napoleon fireplace was extremely cramped with dangerous sharp screw ends and metal edges which cut my hands and arms as I tried to fit the fan to the back attachment. Once in place (had to open the glass door) and secure the rest was easy. Delivery and phone assistance excellent

Lots of blood
The service was great and it did turn out to be the correct unit, however there were some issues. Forget a 15 minute install. I did manage to fit it in after removing the glass front but the many screws and barriers made the job hazardous. I have perhaps 40 scratches on my hands and arms from sharp screws that seem to be always in the way. My advice is take your time positioning the fan. At least when you are done you can feel proud you did it yourself!

The same blower costs 270C$ + tax in Ontario, so the price is a steal. The delivery took 10 days. Performance wise and installation is not too bad. However, the transformer is somewhat noisy and the thermostat switch is not so easy to install.

Great blower kit
My order was processed and shipped the same day. Install was as expected and went without a hitch. The fan is well damped by the anti-vibration pad and is near silent. This is a great addition to my fireplace.
