Very easy to install, took about 5-10 MInutes

I called a local company to purchase from, and they said they thought I needed the GFK-160B model but needed to check. They could not tell me the difference between the A and B models. I spoke with a rep from MyFirePlace Blower, and he told me the difference is in how it is wired, and that if I had an outlet already installed, I needed the A model. Since I never heard back from my local company, I took a chance, because the A model is only $138, while the B model is $279 (plus, the local company was going to charge me $149 to install it). The product arrived within a week, and on a Friday morning I installed it - all you do is slide it in place in the back of the underside of the fireplace. There is an electrical cord with a sensor and a magnet on either side of it that sticks to the underside of the fireplace to tell the unit to turn on or off (when it heats up to 120 degrees and when it cools below 120), and I just plugged in the unit and everything worked fine! You do have to turn up the TV volume as it is a little bit loud. Easily a great purchase, very happy with the product overall, and the advice I received from this company, which is the reason I am writing this review. I saved quite a bit of money going this route. PS - if you're unsure of the installation, do a YouTube search - I found a really good video the day of my installation that eliminated any concerns I had about not knowing what I was doing.

Great product...good quality..quick to install..very easy to operate..does a great job moving hot air and making my fireplace much more efficient...with the blower my forced air system is shut down most of the day.
