Our BK Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Desa CD36RP fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and increase heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan.

Joe Easley - unit function perfectly. Installation was a bit tight but it fit. Had difficulty removing the protection from the Velcro strips while in final position. Had to extract, remove film and reinstall VERY CAREFULLY as the Velcro is very sticky. All works well now.

This Blower Works
I installed this blower in my gas fireplace and it moves a lot of heat with little noise. At first, I was concerned that the blower did not create a large force of air coming out of my fireplace vent, but after it ran for five minutes, I noticed the amount of heat the blower fan was moving was more than I thought. It is a good blower for the money.
