The Automated Heat creation system within a pellet stove contains the Ignition Temperature Sensor; referred to as a “Proof of Fire Switch”, which detects if a flame is present. There must be sufficient Heat during Startup for a signal to trigger the Control Board to switch off the Igniter and activate “RUN Mode”.
