Variable Speed Control - Rheostat for Fireplace Blower Fan

Fan control made for nice quit fire place.

Installation was easy; however, it should have the same screw to box setup as a light switch. Using it in a two gain box, the wall plate doesn’t have anything to screw the wall plate into. The VSC goes into the old switch hole, but there isn’t anything to secure the double switch wall plate to.

They got me blowers and a speed switch for my fireplace insert and they fit exactly like the original ones.

1st one sent was defective. 2nd one work okay. The man on the phone with me was superb as a customer service rep. You need more like him.

I damaged my original speed control. I called for a replacement. It was easy to order on the phone. I installed the new controller today with no problems.

I had purchsed a blower fan back on 11/19. I only used it approximately 8 months before it went bad, even though the 1 year warranty had expired. I contact the store and told them the situation with the fan. They allowed me to purchase a new fan and reostat for a fraction of the cost. They didnt have to do that. I have dealt with them for many years. They've always treated me right, if I had a problem. A great company to deal with! Rik
