This Variable Speed Control is easily wired into your fireplace blower's wiring by interrupting the Black Hot wire.

    Fan speed control

    Replaced the speed control switch for a True North wood stove insert due to fan only working on high speed. This worked perfectly and was super easy to replace.

    No off switch??? C'mon. It's ONLY a rheostat. Weak ---------------------------------- Owner Response: When the dial is turn all the way Counter-Clockwise - the control Clicks OFF.

    Installation was easy; however, it should have the same screw to box setup as a light switch. Using it in a two gain box, the wall plate doesn’t have anything to screw the wall plate into. The VSC goes into the old switch hole, but there isn’t anything to secure the double switch wall plate to.
