Description
Our GFK4B Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator NDV4236, NDV4236I gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

As advertised
Installation instructions were great. Getting the fan in was a tight squeeze. Blows well and now we are making better use of the heat output. Only thing that could make it better would be to offer remote speed control at a similar price rate.

A Must for Heatilator Models
Received this blower kit promptly and it installed as per the directions. Yes, it is a tight fit but it can be done and makes a big difference in the output of the fireplace. The connections are simple and straight forward. The most difficult task was removing the protective tape from the Velcro strips. Be sure to clean the area where the blower will seat. You want it to stick well. A neighbor also purchased this model and we installed it in 8 minutes. Great buy.

not very easy to install
Not as easy to install as others said, and the fan is noisier than I expected ------------------------------------------ MyFireplaceBlower Response: This fan is always on full speed when you turn in on. An option is to connect a Variable Speed Control to the blower, this will allow you to turn the speed down and there will be less air-movement noise. There is not a lot of extra room in lower vent space of the fireplace for installation, but is does work per the instructions.

Ordered blower fan in the morning and received it next day! Great written instructions, and video on internet. A little tight getting the fan to the back of the Heatilator, but install was flawless. Fan worked perfectly first time I fired up the Fireplace!

Works like a Charm
The blowers were exactly as described and easy enough to install myself. Everything was in plain English and easy to understand. Very easy installation
Very, very, very easy to install. It appears to be good quality too. You do notice it's there. Not the most quiet fan I've heard.

Works as advertised
Found the blower pre wired and easy to install. Putting out lots of heat into my family room instead of wasting it up the flue. The variable speed control is great, runs quietly.
