Our FK4 Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator GC300 SERIES gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
Included with the blower kit: Variable Speed Switch, (rheostat control - like a light dimmer) which you can regulate air flow and any air noise from the fireplace fan and Thermo Switch (Thermodisc), a Heat Sensor which automatically turns the Blower ON after the fireplace heats up and automatically turns the Blower OFF after the fireplace cools down.

Very Happy - FK4 Fireplace Blower For Heatilator GC300
Very happy with this purchase as it makes our gas fireplace experience much nicer for us. Shipping was faster than expected - 3 days. Installation was easier than expected. It wasn't as easy as installing a light bulb, but was about as easy as stringing Christmas lights. It was harder to squeeze my hands into the tiny space under the system and to carefully slide the fan up against the back wall than it was to attach the wires. Any normal person above the age of 10 can do the installation. BONUS - Don't do what I did and attach everything without confirming that the outlet under your fireplace is actually a working outlet. Mine had never been used and it didn't work so I had to wonder why my fan wouldn't work. Once I attached it to a good outlet it worked fine. Once operating the variable fan is a nice feature. Overall, at the highest setting, the fan is about as loud as our HVAC system. And once working, it raised the temperature of our living room from 70 up to 74 degrees. It greatly improves our happiness with our gas fireplace.

Installation was easy and works great, just using for the chilly mornings in the desert for her in winter. Turned a decorative gas fireplace into a useful appliance. Surprised by how quiet it is.

This blower only took abt 5 minutes to install. Is very quiet as well! I only wish it moved more air, but this is a trmendous improvement!
