A Draft Fan, also known as a Combustion Fan Blower, Draft Inducer Fan, or Exhaust Blower Fan, is a type of fan used in Heat Creation Systems to regulate airflow for optimizing proper combustion and ventilation.
It can refer to either a ‘Forced Draft Fan’: (which pushes air into a combustion chamber); or an ‘Induced Draft Fan’: (which removes exhaust gases & combustion byproducts out of the combustion chamber by pulling them outside, through creating negative pressure within the system’s venting chamber).
