Description
Our GFK21B Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is designed for the Heatilator NBV3630I gas fireplace insert to circulate air around the firebox and enhance heat output. This complete fireplace blower kit offers a low cost solution to push heat created by the fireplace into your living space.
A speed control module with timer circuit is included with the blower kit which automatically turns the fan ON / OFF at preset times and is equipped with a Speed Button to provide a quiet airflow at the desired speeds. The timer circuit will delay fan operation; by automatically turning ON the fan 7 minutes after the main flame has been turned ON (After the fireplace has warmed up) and turning the fan OFF 12 minutes after the main flame has been turned OFF (After the fireplace has cooled down).

Gfk21b Blower fan kit used in a heatilator fireplace GNDC30
I'm loving my new fireplace blowers. I have 2 fireplaces. The first one I had open space underneath because I had to change the gas regulator. I had taken the sticky tape protectors off as I had seen in a YouTube video, but it was more difficult to install because I kept getting it stuck on things working it into position. On the second one I left the sticky protectors in place and I was able to maneuver it into position, with the regulator and gas lines all hooked up. No problem, much easier. Once around all the obstacles and in position, I removed the sticky protectors and pushed it into position. I used a piece of dense foam under the motor to help hold the blower in a straight horizontal position, as it wants to tip to the side of the motor. I did find I could not adjust the fan speed when it was in the test position. Regardless of the fan speed I selected, it was always in the high position. Once the speed control module unit came on, seven minutes after the fire was activated, I could then select a fan speed for the blower. Once it was set, it held the fan speed on subsequent fire starting. I did get one remote, but I haven't installed it yet. I like the fact that some of the parts are manufactured in the USA.

Had to remove ignition valve input gas line to get blower to fit. Other than that, no problems.
