This GA3450TA Fireplace Blower Fan Kit is compatible with the DESA fireplace. Included with the blower fan; (ON - Off) toggle switch: to control the fans operation. Combine this activation switch with the automatic power activation of a Thermo Switch (Thermodisc) included in the blower kit; you have a low cost solution to maximize the potential of your fireplace by circulating the hot air created by your fireplace into your living space.

New heater blower replacement
I purchased a GA3450TA replacement blower for my heater. It works better than the original! If you need a replacement blower, this is definitely a great choice.

Better Blower that the Original One!
The blower was easy to install and runs quieter and better than the one that came with the fireplace!!

Loud
Old fan went out after more than 10 years. This fan was easy to install and it definitely moves the air. Only drawback is the noise. I feel like a plane is readying for takeoff every time it starts up. Description shows toggle switch with off-auto-on, and my product does not have this option. ------------------------------------------ MyFireplaceBlower Response: This fan is always on full speed when you turn in on. An option is to connect a Variable Speed Control to the blower, this will allow you to turn the speed down and there will be less air-movement noise. After receiving feedback from prior customers, we made the ON the same as Auto. So now there is (On)Auto and Off.

Easy Instillation
Quick to install but the fan is more noisy then the old. ------------------------------------------------------------------ MyFIreplaceBlower Response: There may be a bit more noise, though our blower fans are more powerful so they spin faster at full speed.

Talk About Blowing....
I have a DESA vent-free gas fireplace...After 12 years the blower went out...I look all over and then found MyFireplace Blower...They sent me a new unit for a reasonable price.While the mounting plate holes were slightly offset and required I drill new holes (no problem) the unit went in "slick as a whistle". While it's a little louder than the old unit, it just needs to "break in" and it'll be fine...It's getting quieter every time it's used....Very good unit, very good price and very good customer service.

It arrived quickly and was easy to install. It is a bit louder than my original blower and the screw holes we not exactly the same but overall it was very nice.

Easy install and with self tap screws to align bracket up. Helps throw heat like never before. Little louder than we like, but the heat...!

Really like this blower only downside for me was no option to just turn fan on and the power cord was really short other than that works great and was easy to install
